Sometimes when the opportunity for change presents itself in our lives, the mere thought can feel overwhelming.
I remember as a young bride standing in a house that was being completely remodeled and stumbling over design decisions. In fact, we repainted the same room 3X. My poor husband, bless his heart. I wasn't trying to be difficult, but the mere thought of making the "wrong" decision was causing me a great deal of trepidation. It was paralyzing my movement forward. I was trying to make too many choices at once.
Have you ever been there? Are you there now?
No matter what change you may be facing: job change, move, new marriage, weight loss, a new baby, empty nest, a broken relationship, retirement...change can begin a choice at a time.
We didn't come out of the womb as babies running at full speed for a reason. There is a natural system to life and it comes in increments. Don't pressure yourself with everything at once. Just start with one choice, one thing you can do today to get you toward that goal.
Change begins a choice at a time.
